Science Communicators’ Forum (SCF) was formed (1985) in West Bengal, India by a few dedicated science activists, teachers, educationists and others. Since inception the members of SCF voluntarily put their service to promote and popularize science education through sharing methods, exposure to innovative learning and emphasizing and promoting low cost and no cost materials in science experiments primarily at the level of elementary education. SCF is registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961.
With the above objectives SCF is conducting activities related to communication on sciences and social sciences and aims to develop tools and methodologies for creative science learning in schools. SCF has opened up new avenues to develop and implement methodologies for capacity building among students, teachers and common people for understanding of scientific and natural phenomena.
